On holiday in Cornwall - Within easy reach of Falmouth

Falmouth is a great base from which to experience a self catering holiday in Cornwall. There are so many things to do that we cannot hope to list them here. What we have done is to set out a few ideas and give you some useful links.
St Mawes and The Roseland Peninsula are a short ferry ride from the Price of Wales Pier in Falmouth. St Mawes is a beautiful village (shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries) with harbour, two sandy beaches and Henry VIII castle, at the end of the lovely Roseland Peninsula. The Roseland Peninsula itself is beautifully unspoilt, with wonderful beaches, glorious coastline, charming villages, coastal walks, hidden pubs and stunning scenery. For a lovely, car free day why not take a ferry to Trelissick, cross the Fal river on the King Harry Ferry then walk the 6 miles down to St Mawes before returning to Falmouth on the St Mawes Ferry?
