The Gallery has a purpose designed shop/reception area immediately inside the main gallery. This has on sale postcards of the pictures in the Town's collection, catalogues and posters of previous exhibitions as well as general art postcards and greetings cards, posters and art books. Falmouth Art Gallery holds the Town's collection of over 100 paintings and 250 works on paper.
Our collection allows you to discover masterpieces by Thomas Gainsborough, Laura Knight, Alfred Munnings, John Singer Sargent, Henry Scott Tuke, Charles Napier Hemy and George Frederick Watts alongside pictures by contemporary artists such as Naomi Frears and Trevor Bell.

|We also have an impressive photography collection including work by Lee Miller, Ian Stern and Eve Arnold. It also houses The Surrealists in Cornwall Collection, the Automata Collection, The Children, s Illustration Archive and one of the most important print collections outside of London.
The Art Gallery’s most famous painting is The Lady of Shalott by John William Waterhouse, which is known throughout the world.
